Alphamegalog of Companies

The alphamegalog of companies is the list of the largest company in the world for each letter of the alphabet. In this case, ‘largest’ is based on the Forbes 2000 list, which uses a complex analysis to determine how large each company is in its financial status. State-owned companies are omitted as a government can choose to make a company arbitrarily large in disregard of free enterprise and market competition. Since the Forbes 2000 list keeps changing, this alphamegalog often gets out of date. Nevertheless, since I started creating alphamegalogs over 10 years ago, several companies have consistently remained in this alphamegalog, including Berkshire Hathaway, J P Morgan Chase, Microsoft, Oracle, Qualcomm, Toyota, and Zurich Insurance Group.
