The alphamegalog of European cities lists the largest city in Europe for each letter of the alphabet. In this case, ‘largest’ is based on population within the city proper. This alphamegalog does not encompass the entirety of Europe but only the portion of European countries that are eligible to be in the European Union. Great Britain is included since it is eligible, even though currently it has elected not to be in the EU.
